Online Worship is on!

Online Worship is on!

We polled our congregation in response.to the coronavirus pandemic and based on the responses (15% planned to come in-person, 85% were unsure or open to online worship) we will not worship in-person on Sunday, March 15, but will have made worship available online.

The music & arts team and pastor have prepared music and a homily (sermon) for Sunday worship. Since everyone does not have facebook, we will make the service available on the church’s website at inglewoodfirst.org/worship on Sunday, March 15 by 10:00 am. We are learning how to do this as we go, but with God, all things are possible! Keep the worship team in your prayers, family!

We will get through Sunday, learn more about the coronavirus pandemic and press on. At present, plans for United Methodist Women’s Sunday on March 22 are still on. We should confirm by Wednesday of next week what we will do based on information we gain over the weekend.

To prepare:

  • Read the #ComeSunday Sermon Notes (inglewoodfirst.org/sermons)
  • Sign up for online giving! We all must tithe to keep operations moving forward! (inglewoodfirst.org/give). Mail your tithe if you must.
  • Continue to pray for one another, the church and the world.
  • Follow all safety recommendations from health professionals! We show our love for each other by how we care for each other.

Lastly, follow the scriptures and wash your hands (James 4:8)!
